Our Story
Our story began when my partner Tenzin, an India-Born Tibetan, and I, Inbal, an Israeli traveler, crossed paths in Goa back in 2000. We quickly fell in love and started a family together. As avid meditators and devoted followers of Buddhism, we shared a deep appreciation for Tibetan culture and its rich spiritual traditions.
Tenzin's family, who reside in Tibet, Nepal, and India, have always had a keen eye for discovering the hidden gems of Tibetan handicrafts. For years, they've been collecting these beautiful works of art from small, local artists and businesses across Tibet. Whenever Tenzin's family would visit us, they would bring along these rare and unique pieces, which always left us in awe.
It wasn't long before we realized that we could share these beautiful treasures with the world. We saw an opportunity to help support the small businesses and artists that create these masterpieces while sharing the beauty and richness of Tibetan culture. And so, Tibet Tree of Life was born.
We work closely with Tenzin's family and friends to source the highest quality handicrafts, ensuring that each piece is authentic, unique, and made with care. Our mission is to not only bring the beauty of Tibetan culture to the world but to also support and preserve the art form itself. By purchasing from us, you are supporting a community of artisans and helping to ensure the survival of this ancient craft.
Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we hope that our products bring you joy, inspiration, and a deeper connection to the rich spiritual traditions of Tibet.
